• Contrary to a popular urban legend, bakkie liners do not cause rust. The bakkie liner has a deep ribbed floor made of high impact resistant polyethylene which allows free air flow underneath the liner. This prevents moisture build up which causes rust. A further protective layer of tectyl is applied to the load box prior to fitting to prevent rust.
